Happy Mental Health Day!
Our psychological well-being is not always the same. Sometimes we feel better, sometimes less so. How are you feeling right now?
In turbulent and challenging times like these, we as humans are often all too focused on what is going badly right now.
That's why, on today's Mental Health Day, we want to consciously remind you that we as human beings also have the freedom to look at what's going well in life - in addition to the burdensome and troubling things - and perhaps even what we can be grateful for. Everyone knows all too well from their own experience that this is not easy, but it is possible.
In order for us to see and perceive these positive things at all, we need a "quiet and safe place" - just for us. In this place, we have the opportunity to leave behind us for a few minutes all the things that come crashing in on us.
How can we do this concretely in everyday life?
Through guided meditation, you can learn from this video to put up your own "imaginary umbrella" so that you can keep yourself safe "from the storm of life."
- Appreciate yourself and your spirit.
- Make sure you get a good night's sleep.
- Learn to manage stress.
- Provide a stable social environment.
- Get help and support.
What does mental health mean?
Mental health is understood to be not only the absence of mental impairments or disorders, but also the state of complete well-being. The term "mental health" is also often used as a synonym for "mental health.
Mental Health - Mental Health
The term "mental health" refers to our "inner life". That is, how we think and feel, but also how we act. Mental health means that a person feels good mentally and spiritually. A kind of ideal state in which a person can fully realize his potential to cope with burdens and stress in his life. Thanks to a healthy psyche, a person can be efficient in his work. He can contribute something to his environment - that is, to the life of his family, friends, acquaintances and neighbors.
